Large donations may be pledged - with pledges completed within a year.
Donations of $1,000 or more will receive permanent recognition in the new library unless the donor wishes to be anonymous.
Donations may be made in honor or memory of a loved one.
Donations of $10,000 or more may be eligible for special recognition.

Library volunteers needed...

Volunteers are needed to do a little dusting, provide flower arrangements, and deliver books to homebound patrons. Contact Colette at (805) 461-6161.

Join our fundraising effort...

Opening the doors to the new Atascadero Library requires a major fundraising effort. We are always looking for new ideas and more volunteers to make it happen.

Help us with our Book Sale...

The Friends of the Library Book Sale is held on the second Saturday of the even-numbered months. Volunteers are needed to help with the setup and during the Book Sale.

Have fun at our special events...

Check out our Upcoming Events and get your tickets to a fun time. Ticket sales for the special events benefit the library expansion project.

Shop at the library Kiosk...

Find affordable presents for special occasions on the sale shelves in the front lobby. You can buy "slightly read" books and magazines as well as CDs and some DVDs. Come and browse, we have many good books at a low price. The Kiosk is open whenever the library is open.

Drop off used printer cartridges at the library...

We recycle them at Staples to save the earth and get supplies that the county can't give us.
